Anddd if you need another reason (you shouldn’t), it uses up those blackened bananas no one wants to eat! 😀
The more ripe a banana is, the sweeter it becomes which makes them perfect for this recipe. Just chop the ripe bananas up and store in the freezer in a sandwich bag until frozen.
-2-3 Frozen Bananas
-Unsweetened almond milk to help blend (Add until desired consistency is reached)
-1 Scoop Protein Powder (optional)
-Dark Chocolate (chopped)
-Fruit or any toppings of your choice 🙂
-Blend the bananas & almond milk together in a blender/food processor and stop occasionally to scrape the sides. Add protein powder and continue to blend until your desired consistency is reached.
-Mix chocolate chips through or just top with your favourite toppings!
Serves 1 large or 2 small 😛
